I know you have to be 6 months between apps but does cap 1 factor in cli"s?
in other words you have a cap 1 card and receive a cli, do you have to time 6 months from the time of the pprevious app or the cli? do they factor cli's into when you can app for a new card?
Yep. $100 CLI every 6 months sounds about right.

I know i'm not the best at describing things but thats an answer to a different question. what i mean to ask will a credit limit increase disrupt the 6 month period between apps for another card. lets say i have a cap 1 and at month 8 i get a cli. do i have to wait 6 months from the time i got that increase or 6 months from the time i got that card to app for another card?
No, new card doesn't influence timing of CLI on the existing card.
With that said, I thought I read some of your posts where you wanted to get rid of the one you had, but now you want additional Cap One cards?
Not really, I posted a bit my gripes with cap 1 , but those were pre bk7. as far as the platinum i got post bk7 i wasnt expecting much. i started out with a 300 limit and i was sure i was bucketed until oct 15th when they raised my cl to 1800 and a few days before that they pc'd to the QS no af. so i take back my gripes about them, they redeemed themselves.
At some point i either want the walmart card or savor so i was just wondering if that cli interfered with the 6 months rule between apps.
It shouldn't, but you already know how Cap One is with CLIs. I wouldn't plan around the idea you will get another one any time soon.
You might get one, or you may never see one again. Walmart tends to have low(ish) SLs, so be prepared for more CLI agony.

I am retired now so 1800 is good. as far as the walmart card being a small sl, i dont mind , i would only be interested in getting 5 percent on groceries like i do with my red card.
when i was working and making 100k plus i was worried about cl, now 1800 is great. I mentioned this before i had a cap 1 card back in the day 2001 500 sl. in 2019 it was still 500 19 years later.
