Arhaus Online App - Comenity Bank

Hi, all,

I app'd online for this Comenity card a few days ago and got the 7-10 day message.  Funny thing, however, is that Comenity never pulled my credit.  Not one report has the inquiry.

Think I should give them a call or just let sleeping dogs lie?  I have 5 of their store cards currently with my highest limit being $4k w VS.

I'd wait for any correspondence since it's unlikely you could contact anyone directly to provide any additional information on your application.

If the letter turns out to be a verification instance, then you can decide if it's worth pursuing given what's known about Comenity as a whole.

Were you looking into any special financing deal with Arhaus?

I don't know how many of their other store cards you have opened recently, but I would definitely log into those accounts to make sure there hasn't been any AA. Comenity gets spooked when their account holders open too much with them, especially in a short time.
Hope this hasn't happened to you!

I haven't opened any Comenity cards in 2 years.  And, I did just that:  everything is fine!

Thanks for the reminder.

That's exactly what I'm going to do!

Yes, I was looking at their 0% interest special financing.  I have a feeling it'll be around so I'm going to sit it out until the letter comes.

Awesome news! I'm sure you'll be fine then. I got the same message when I app'ed for Wayfair (SCT gone wrong) after having Overstock for four months. Ended up with a higher SL than where I was with OS after all my monthly CLI's. Ha! Comenity can be weird.

Got my fingers crossed!  We've settled our hearts on several pieces for our new home and the 0% financing would be awesome.

And yes, from what I hear, they can be extremely interesting to work with, to say the least.  They've been good to me and I'm pretty sure this will be my last card with them.  I honestly have to make myself use the other cards each month to show usage Smiley Very Happy

UPDATE: Arhaus Online App - Comenity Bank

It turns out that my EQ was locked at the time they pulled my app.  Not sure how that is possible, but oh, well.

I have to wait 30 days before applying again.  I may just order the furniture that's on sale now and if there's more furniture we need after we move in our home I'll apply at that time.

Thanks, everyone for your feedback Smiley Happy.
