Does anyone know the average credit score needed for approval in financing through ashley furniture? I have a trans-618 & equi-617 score and not sure if I will be approved. I also don't want to take the chance of applying because if it's a hard inquiry than it will impact my score.
They have many options for credit. The top tier cards are usually around 720, but like all lenders---it really depends on the whole picture. I know someone who got approved for a 12 mo no interest contract with low 600's. It wasn't a revolving card though; it was a installment contract.

Financing of this variety through a store is known as a Consumer Finance Account (CFA) and such an account will adversely impact your FICO scores not just now, but for the entire time they're on your credit report even for the 10 years it's there after it's closed. I recommend you stay away from a CFA. You're better off applying for a 0% card and using the card to make your purchase. CFAs are viewed as "last resort" financing, so it's best to steer clear of them.
