Hello --
I was approved for a Capital One cc with $10K limit about 10 days ago. This is my 2nd credit card (Discover w/$1500 limit). Has anyone had success with Capital One approving you for Walmart card without having to do a hard pull? Should I try it? Thoughts? Comments? Thank you!

Last I heard, Capital One has a policy of only approving one card in 6 months so you have to wait to be approved for another card from them.
@NewMe1120 - if you should decide to pursue the Walmart CC, it will result in another HP. In the past, applying for the Walmart CC used to result in a triple pull (just like their mainline cards), but I'm not sure if that still applies these days. Someone who may have recently applied can confirm.
That said, Capital One doesn't combine or repurpose their HPs from their legacy cards and PLCCs.
@FinStar & @dragontears thank you both for your responses. I'll tuck that info away and will wait to apply for Walmart cc. I don't want another hard pull on my report. Appreciate you!
Walmart CC with Capital One will cost you 3 HP's. I got it this year for the gas benefit and it hit all 3.
I got a Capital One Platinum card a couple of weeks ago with the 3 pulls and then the Walmart Rewards MasterCard the other day and they did the 3 pulls again.
I'm rebuilding so it was worth it to me.
@NewMe1120, there won't be a pull if you're ineligible because you've recently acquired a Capital One card. That can be determined without the benefit of a credit report.
@Anonymous ; @HeavenOhio and @Total80sKid - Thank you for your responses! Love being on this journey of rebuilding with you.
Cap 1 requires 6 months between aproval for cards. they hard pull all 3 credit agencies.
