Asking Barclays for massive CLI, help.

Don't use the back door number use credit solutions. I think my TransUnion score is around 680. Not sure Credit Karma says its 630 so no real idea. I got my arrival+ card 2 months ago I went from 1k limit when the card was issed to 3k the day I got the card now 2 months later im at 8k. 

Just call and shoot high they will give you something.

Credit solutions is sync.
Barclay an idiot is listed in helpful numbers thread and takes you direct to analyst

Actually, credit solutions is Barclays too. I just called them last night. I asked them if they could cut my bill early since I just got my limit raised the lady said no we are credit solutions we do not take care of that here.

I was in a similar situation with lower limits. I had a Sallie Mae with a $5.7k limit and wanted to bt $4.4k over and take advantage of the bt checks sent. I called and spoke to a rep and told him I wanted a cli to$10k for a bt and had concerns about my utilization. He said that was a good reason for the request, ran my credit (hp on TU) complimented me on my NFCU card with a $22k limit management and approved the cli.

My stats were similar to yours except my TU was about 40 pts lower than yours. I initiated the conversation with questions regarding the bt offer then went into the cli request. Good luck to you.

I think you will just confuse a lot of people if you start talking about Barclay credit department being credit solutions since people think of sync as credit solution. The result is they are credit analyst regardless of what they call themselves but for Barclay it is listed under Barclay in back door number not under Credit solution
