Asking for a CLI on Citi Costco Visa

Card was activated on Monday. I requested CLI to $10,000.00 same day.  Received msg will receive email in 24hrs.  Checked online account 20 minutes later and $10,000.00 showing.  Amex TE stuck at $1,200.00 for several years so was very happy with increase.  Decided to roll the dice on HHilton and approved instantly for $6,000.00.  I think this is the beginning of a wonderful relationship.  Best of luck.

I tried for a CLI on my Costco Visa but was denied.  The reason  it wasn't  approved was because they said I already received a recent increase. There must be at least six months between limit changes.  I got an increase in March on my Amex TE card, so I guess they are counting that.

Called the EO and asked for a CLI to $20k. They pulled TU on me but it was approved.

Was it an instant approval once you called the EO? They told me they would call me back by Friday.... So not impressed with the few hiccups.

DW has had the Amex with the same $1200 limit since 2013. Just registered Citi Visa on their website and asked for cli to $10,000. Got the 24 hour review message so we'll see. Fingers crossed.

It wasn't an instant approval on the phone, but I checked the website a couple of hours later and the new CL showed up.
