I spoke with the EO yesterday. I am taking another hard pull and having my application go under manual review because they started me off with a measily $300 limit on the Cap 1 GMC BuyPower card. I already have two cards with them, one with a $2000 cl. They only pulled EQ last time. I'm hoping they'll pull something else.
Anyways the EO said it would be about a week!

I've never emailed the EO, always called. 3 times it was a return call from them after 3 days. The last time after 3 days my CLI showed up online but I never got a call from them or a letter that they indicated would be mailed out after they made a decision.

It took me 3 to 4 days to get the CLI I requested.

Now since everyone calls them. They have a backlog. They will call you within 2 to 3 weeks.

Never called any EO ever, I feel like I got the increases when they were earned.

I spent months using those crappy backdoor numbers before finally EMAILING the EO. The representative s for Cap 1 did not know anything about Cap 1's policies or requirements about

1. Whether or not we could open more than one account with Cap 1. Sometimes I was told it dependetd on the card!

2. Whether I was allowed to PC my Journey to a quicksilver which the EO took care of right away, because duh!

I also called the EO for a higher starting limit on that BuyPower card given my history with them.

NumberzGame That's awesome you got increases when you earned them but Capital One does not do that for everyone! Sometimes the computers fail us and in my case I would like someone to Manually review my credit report. You have to connect with the EO for that. I email, so they can cal me in their time. They are very polite and don't mind.
