Did you apply instore or online? I have applied online a couple of times resulting in a denial. My iMac crashed 2 days ago and went into the store to get a new one, was asked if I wanted to apply and I said sure, why not receive one more denial. To my supprise I was approved, it asked me if I wanted the Store Card or the Visa, and i selected visa, and was proved with a 4,000 dollar limit. This is just a few months after my denial online and not much has changed in my credit profile. I do have to say, when people say apply in store, it does help!

It kinda does. Honesty depends on the lender and your profile. I KNOW. BUT I FEEL THAT'S THE COLD HARD TRUTH.
My perception is that the salesmen want that bonus for getting someone to sign up for a credit card. So they will attempt to go the extra mile for you. They work hard for the money. *sings* So hard for it honey.
FYI I just got a CLI on my BB Card from Spring. I had to get a manual review to increase and lament my story that I am buying gifts soon. Black Friday is upon us.
Gap, Amazon Prime and BB are my token store cards.
Gap: 2k to 8k. Prime stays at 6k. BB now at 4k.
