I was born there and I went to the beach, Disney, and Universal when I was a teenager.
I had enough Florida in my first ten months of life. I love mountains and while the sea is nice to look at and even swim in, the humidity kills it for me. And hurricanes. Can’t forget those. My dad lives in Louisiana and he still never got the cottage fixed from Katrina.

Their scope is roughly along the East Coast from Florida up through the Atlantic states then west to the Mississippi, total of about 20 states. They don't reach into NY or New England.

One of the few things I loved about living in Los Angeles was that you could go skiing in the mountains at 10 AM and then go ocean surfing the same day at 2 PM
Florida got hit by Katrina also. Was only a small Cat 1 at the time. It was practically a direct hit for me
