I posted this question as a reply in another thread, and was hoping to get more color over here. When you all have applied for the BBVA amex card, has anyone noticed if they soft Equifax at the same time they hard pull Experian? The only other bank I know of that does this is Comenity. They will hard pull Equifax and soft Experian. If you have Experian frozen, and equifaxed thawed, they will still deny you and tell you that you have Equifax frozen(which is not true).
Reason I ask is because I had thawed Experian months ago when I had originally applied with BBVA. They denied me stating my Experian was frozen, which it was not. I did have equifax frozen and now I'm wondering if that was the culprit?
Again, I'm curious if anyone has any equifax softs from BBVA on the same date of your Experian hard pull.
