BBVA Clear Points

I've been receiving Pre Qualified mailers for the BBVA Clearpoints. Haven't needed it so I haven't applied. Opened a checking for the $200 bonus.  How soon should I expect to see Pre Qualified offers on their online or mobile site?  I understand you can see the SL when prequalified before applying.  Anyone have experience?

In the app when you hit the add product link does it have an option for credit cards? If not, you're in the same jail I'm in with them. Nobody seems to know when it ends. I can check for personal loans now when I couldn't check for any credit previously but the option for credit card isn't there at all.

I don't have any options except deposit products at the moment, just opened the account Fri. I do have Pre Qual mailers though 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hmm, interesting. The app showed my preapproval SL for both CCs I took. 

I know you can also go by a branch & their system will show the SL. Maybe you could call if one isn't in your area?

How long after you opened checking did you see option for pre qual?  I may call tomorrow,  or in a hurry, more curious than anything else.

I called today and they said the credit card pre qual comes up after you have applied for your first card with them. Not sure I believe the CSR was 100% sure of what he was saying.

You will find that BBVA customer service is totally useless unfortunately. I never have seen it and I've had a credit card from the start. I have had the credit card since 12/2018 and a checking since 10/2019 and it's not there for me. I can go to a branch to find out if I'm prequalified or I can call and apply over the phone.
