Guess i should have known better than to test the waters with this relatively unknown lender.
And especially after all the shenanigans some members went through with them as to verification and the like.
I did turn up an approval back in November at a decent APR and 11K limit and have been charging then PIF for months.
Submitted my request last Wednesday and was told to check back Friday. I checked back friday and still no word which my instincts tells me somethings not right. Well it wasn't. Found a new TU INQ on Tuesday and called in Wednesday only to be told it was denied. Oh well.
I requested a new limit for 15K not the 20K some suggested but i guess it's not meant to be right now if ever so just have to count those lucky stars this card was even approved at all given all the hoopla a good many people went thru with them.
Knowing BBVA they will probably give you a CLI in a week or so, then cancel the card. Seriously though, sorry for the denial, But it seems they are cutting back on the generosity as of late, so I'm sure your in good company.

Well all that did really was run me straight into a Citibank's Aadvantage approval so it was not a total waste after all.

I'd say not. Well there is a silver lining to every dark cloud it appears.
