@Anonymous
Exactly but mine sits with same line I opened with, it's fine I am not mad or sad, it's just business to me as well and I don't want to do it with them any longer.
Some love this card, good for you, some don't like this bank, to each his own.........................................................

Officially closed, they didn’t even ask why or try to keep me as a customer. So that right there makes me glad I closed it 👍
I have found many don't care if you close. My experience.
I closed some last year, and have a couple more to thin this year.
rinse and repeat.

Yes I see that more and more these days, which I can somewhat understand. These banks have a lot of customers, little old me won't hurt them at all. I had previously closed Cap one ( didn't bat an eye) Citi asked but didn't seem to care, but I don't take it personal, I just choose to not carry their cards anymore.
I remember the days when they actually had a "retention" department and would try to convince use to keep their cards, those days are long gone it appears.
Happy trails to you.(BBVA) We wont meet up again...................
What was the $3 charge for? Transferring out rewards cash back or were you banking with them too?
I can't say I've ever been *pleased* with BBVA, but it's my only card that gives a bump on utility spend... Here in Pacific Graft & Extortion land, that 3% pays waaaay above the $1.35 EZ-Pay fee.
After hitting the SUB, it's been a utility and medical co-pay card and nothing else. I don't expect much growth out of it. I've had it about 6 or 7 months so far and all they want to do is give me a $15K personal loan. Meh!
Congrats with closing out a card that only gave you anguish.
