There is a reservation code in the email.I have zero use for a personal loan at the moment but hey, always nice to feel like your business is wanted. 👍
Of, course, what bank does not want your interest?
Personal loans at my income are hard to get. I provided them with my income as part of the prequal yesterday and they sent me a prequal for a personal loan today. First non-Best Egg or One Main secured offer I have gotten.

I'm hoping it may actually generate new preapproved credit card mailers once the program resumes. I was told by a manager in the credit department it's the only way to qualify for a sub when applying for the same card. She said the sub is built into the approved promotion reservation code. Without it, at least you would still get the 0% apr/bt promo. Wish they'd offer reduced or 0 fee BTs too. Oh well, CU's seem to have that highly valuable perk well covered!
Interesting note about the SUB. I was under the impression that even if you get a flier in the mail, if you're an existing customer you're disqualified.
BBVA seem to have a few little perks but they are a heavily matrixed org. I've found it difficult to get correct information or proper assistance unless you speak directly to the department specialzed in that area. Ex: credit card app/marketing, specialty (backroom), fraud. What's more annoying is you can't reach them direct, you have to go through customer service who will then attempt to patch you through (if possible/dept available) or will send the department an email with your issue. You then wait for someone to contact you via phone or message. I tend to take advantage and ask every question under the sun while I have someone with answers on the phone. It's helped tremendously guide me through the maze of company procedure. Gotta admit fraud was the worst until I finally talked to the last person who had complete authority.
They are careful with names and titles so it's hard to discern who you're speaking to after front line csr which I found strange. But once you're in, you're in, or so I was told; we shall see. Bottom line, they are very customer-centric. As always, YMMV
BBVA is pretty big here in Central Texas, Compass bank having roots in Texas with the acquisition of many smaller Texas banks since the 80's and then BBVA landing Guaranty Bank when they collapsed we have branches all over the place here and they are building the BBVA tower in downtown Austin. Pre-COVID they marketed a lot to me, sometimes getting several offers per week, both for their credit card products and their banking products. Haven't gotten in the past couple of months.
The ClearPoints is somewhat interesting with the 2x and 3x points, since the points (from what I have read -- I could be wrong) are equal to 1 cent each. In theory with 3X points in the right category you would be earning a bit more than you could with a 1.5% or 2% card (considering cards with no AF like the ClearPoints). I haven't done all the number crunching but depending on spend it could work out in your favor.
I haven't gone the route because I really don't want another bank account, just another place to transfer money. I would be curious from anyone who has the card what the categories tend to look like and what the earnings tend to look like. Are there other advantages to joining BBVA that I am missing?

@JNA1, seems to get lots of offers, I have a Clearpoints, but really don't use it that much.
I have to many daily driver cards.

The card is indeed 1cpp value.
Here are the categories

Their categories can be somewhat broad. For example, Woot Gourmet codes as groceries, Dell Outlet codes as retail, and both my cell phone and cable code as utilities.
It is not a bad card by any means. They also give me balance transfer offers all of the time. Current options are 0% for 6 months, 3.99% for 12 months, and 4.99% for 18 months each with a 4% fee. I won't use them but they're always there.
I ran a preapproval for the Clearpoints card for giggles and grins, came back with $12K SL at 11.24% APR but also with a 13 month 0% APR BT offer. Don't need so won't apply but others might be interested in seeing if they can pick up a BT offer.
My wife and I both got a 5X on Restaurants up to $3000 on both of our ClearPoints cards for September yesterday.

They are offering me the 0% BT for 6 months.
