BCE CLI denied 3rd time

My BCE is at 1,000, instant denied CLI at activation, instant denied 91 days after that and denied just now 95 days later (got 7-10 message) (card is now 6mo old). Looks like I should just wait until card is a year old in August. I still love my BCE though and I plan to keep it long term. I might even convert to BCP in August. I also don't plan to have a huge limit on this card, I would be happy if I can eventually get the card to just 9k or so.

Sorry to hear.. Good decision to give it sometime.  What was the reason for denial on the CLI?

It didn't give me a reason, the website just say to wait 7-10 days for a letter. In fact it didn't even say denial, just 7-10 for letter.

the letter will state it.

In their email to you after you applied for the cli there should be a reference number for the request. Plug it in on this page and it will give you the reason for denial.

I just received my new BCE a few weeks ago with a $2k CL . I tried for a CLI at activation with no luck. The reason given for denial on the website above was that the account was too new.

Hang in there, I have been turned down twice for my BCE, third coming next month if the pattern holds. Sometimes it just takes time.
