If you were to try a 2nd time on the card you just successfully got a CLI on your request would be deferred for review by an analyst.
That first bit explains why the link stayed showing up after I requested a CLI last month. Instead of being happy with the approval ($3100 to $6000), I submitted another one to get to $10k and got countered to $9,100. All automatic/instant, no human review. Only the first one triggered a "Confirmation of your credit line increase" email, for what it's worth.
Just wanted to add that as DP for anyone else.
