Ok update spoke to credit SENIOR analyst she said she couldn't raise it because of insufficient experience of the credit limit $4K. I have $9.5K capital one platinum visa as I told her. She said no matter what other cards the amount $4000 was more than enough for the limit. she said I quote "sir btw awesome payment history" wow should I call another analyst anyone have luck with this.

Unless they made notes about it (which BOA usually does) and show that the OP has previously called on the CLI.

Thank you I'll try again tomorrow. I went online and requested it to be increased by $1K and it said I will get a written decision in 7-10 business day. I've had the account for like 14 honest months.

Did this result in an additional hard inquiry?

Kiki901 I honestly have no clue but so far I don't think so because I have experian/Transunion myfico and credit karma and any inquiry is immediately emailed to me. Btw thanks finstar for clearing that up. However it doesn't hurt to try
