Hey everyone!
So a few weeks ago I applied for a BOA Travel Rewards Card and an MLB Cash Rewards card on the same day as the agent said I could apply
both and possibly get approved for both,
2 Day later I got the Travel Rewards with a small CL, and the MLB card was in review till this past monday.
Today I got the denial letter, and the reasoning was "Number, type, and/or balance of accounts with us and/or our affilates."
Could someone explain why this would be the reasoning? No other reasons given, no balance on the TR card (I made sure to do full payments on it and didn't go over 10% util. in the first month)
Is it just that I don't have experience with BOA so they felt uncomfortable issuing me two cards? (Hence I was mislead by the rep I talked to?) The score they had was a 734. Worth considering a recon or would the app be too fargone since it's been 24 days?
Thanks for all input!
If it were me I would definitely call, if anything to ask for clarification on the reasons they gave and why? Then take it from there and try to overcome their objections based on the facts you have with the cards you have and the way you good experience you have with the way you manage your credit.

It means that Bank of America feels that they have extended sufficient credit to you based on your credit profile.
