Mine was only $99..which was offered to me after being denied for the Cash Awards they spammed me with because I've had a checking account with them for years that was never overdrawn or any baddies.
I keep seeing people having to put down $300 for the same $500 limit. Is that because they did't get denied for a previous card or because they don't have bank accounts with BOA?
Thanks. I know it's the lowest I was just wondering why others are so high? Even on their offer page it is $300. https://www.bankofamerica.com/credit-cards/credit-cards-to-build-credit/?VIEW=List
I was recommending it to someone else who is having trouble getting credit yet we didn't know why the deposit was so different.

What on earth do they secure it with if it's a zero deposit secured card??? Or are you being facetious?
