Welcome To The Forums ![]()
A pretty nice way to start things off here for you.
Congrats! on your approval and looking forward to read more from you
I really wasn't looking forward to Synchrony taking over the BP cards for the simple reason I had the regular gas card with Chase and they'rre (Synchrony) being rather jerk-ish about giving me any kind of CLI or lowering my APR on my over 1 year old Wal Mart M/C right now (but have gotten 3 auto CLI's on my Pay-Pal Smart Connect--go figure). So I won't be app-ing for the BP Visa version, but once my regular card is registered I'm going to ask for a CLI on it if it's a SP just to hear the excuse they'll give me.

Wow. So synchrony took over from chase. Not a bad thing. Anyone know scores and limits tey are using and giving?
Trying to understand the reward structure. So each reward can be redeemed in a single transaction for up to 20 gallons.
If I spend $100 on BP gas, I can then buy 20 gallons more and save $5?
So less than 5% off.

I think that's only for the first three months. I don't know what it would be after.

I think that is the standard offer. The first 3 months is $100 anywhere, but $100 on BP seems to always earn the 25c offer.

Seems like stuff between $1k-$2k at the moment.

Comparing this card to Synchrony's own Texaco/Chevron card you really see how little they care about me...this is several times better...and it isn't even that good.
