Yesterday, I posted on the Approvals that I got a Pre-Approved Quicksilver App in the mail yesterday. I applied and got an instant approval of 3K. I just checked the mail and I have yet another Pre-Approved Quicksilver App. Pretty good chance of approval or will they see the app yesterday and likely decline?

Applying for two of the exact same card within a day of each other may raise red flags and they may audit you
I figured I shouldn't press it, but was slightly tempted. Thanks for the feedback.

Keep in mind that second letter was probably mailed off after the first and just now reached your mailbox. Naturally they had no way of knowing you had already responded to the first offer. Plus they wouldn't accept a second app for the same card in 30 days.
Well Actually in many cases they do. However as stated there is no doubt it will raise red flags. Most likely their fraud Dept will be calling you on the phone. simply to make sure it is you that applied for both of them. but what is the point? every card grows eventually. no need to have the same card with that limit. I could see if two 20k cards. But not two 3k cards. Just move on to the next lender for Diversity.
Edit My brother did just this as example. Apped the venture with 815 fico. Denied. because he put in wrong income. Said it was 2k a year. he thought they meant per month.
They next day apped for another Venture with Correct info. Approved for 30k.
They called him next day. The Fraud Dept about the first app. Which he told them about his mistake. He thought he was denied because it gave him 7-10 message. But after the call and correction on app. Also approved another 30k. What the hell. 60k in limits on 24k income per year. But hey./ His lowest score is 815. so this is what they did. Also for op. Would be better to app for another card like the Venture if you were going to pull something like that. A quicksilver on one day and a Venture the next. This has a high chance of Success. Good luck.
Thanks, I was just curious. I haven't sought credit cards in a long time, but I've moved on to other lenders. Also got into Discover and Chase yesterday. Just curious what the consensus was. Thanks again.
Why would you even want two, anyway? There's no spending cap or reason to have two.
Nevertheless, applying literally the next day is going to raise flags, besides taking 3 more HPs for something you already have. Just let your new QS grow, give it history and usage and you'll get CLIs instead of opening a new account to later combine (I assume this would be your intention).
Also the mailer was obviously sent out before you got approved for the previous card.
I have received about 5 more preapproval mailers since I was approved for the quicksilver and the same thought crossed my mind. LOL my better judgment prevailed.

You could most likely get a second card and probably with the same pull(s) if done in the same day. You could also check their prequal site.
