Banco do Brasil application

I have a couple more questions about Banco do Brasil.

1. I don't generally wait to be contacted about approvals, I usually call to find out approval status. What number have people had luck with on calling to find out the status? I understand the bank would prefer you wait to hear in the mail, but it would help my strategy greatly if I knew what to expect. It has been 2 weeks since the app was submitted.

2. I understand there is a verification call. I understand they will ask for some balances on my existing cards. My question is, they did a HP when I submitted the app. Some of my balances have changed and some have since reported to the bureaus as changed. I don't want to alarm Banco do Brasil by giving the wrong answer. Do we know if they expect the answer that matches the day they did the HP? Or the current scene?

Settle in.  The process moves at a glacial pace.

Just keep in mind, as others have mentioned, the process takes a while and not everyone will yield an approval. It took almost 30 days before they reached out to me.

If it goes beyond 30 days and you have not heard anything as far as a verification call (although some applications may not go through that process) then it's likely the application didn't meet their approval guidelines.
