I was approved for $18K (EX HP) plus it took almost 3 weeks for the verification call and I'm outside of the FL footprint 😁

@AverageJoesCredit, I was very surprised about the CL since in reading some prior experiences and data points, very few folks reported CLs in the ~$10K range. Which is still not too bad for a lesser known bank that takes a while to review applications, manually 😁

Overall, even after verification, it took 1 month for the entire review/approval process. It's a pretty nifty looking CC!

Just received a denial letter from my first app last Sept. 😂.

Was approved on a second app a month after the first.

I only apped because I didn’t hear anything on the first app.

The letter apologized for the late notice and blamed it on an outside vendor. 

I think maybe someone filed a CFPB complaint

I wonder if that someone got a letter from the FDIC that the complaint was fowarded to them and that they've launched an inquiry.    Banks don't like being the target of FDIC inquiries.

I remember that you had never heard back from them from the first application.   Congrats on getting this loose end tied up.

I got the same letter as well, dated May 10th.  I wonder which "Third-Party Vendor" (as cited on the letter) was used?  Was it "Peggy" from Discover from way back?     Surprisingly, the EX inquiry from 9/12 got removed.

When my next free report comes up I’m going straight to that inquiry to see if it’s there! Will be interesting to see
