Bank of America Cash Rewards

This card was one of my offers on their site. I apped and got the in review message and the 5-7 business day message. Well that was May 5, 2 months and 14 days ago. The website continually says in review and CSR reps tell me the same thing and that’s all they can see. There has not been a hit on any report. Frustrating experience.

Re: Bank of America Cash Rewards

That's one LONG review period.  I would try contacting a higher level representative rather than the front-line CSR.

Re: Bank of America Cash Rewards

If there was no HP or SP. Then there's no review.
Time to go back in and try it again. There should be a HP on a new application.

Re: Bank of America Cash Rewards

They probably sent your card to Gmood..or Pizza

Seriously tho, they would have been able to review a mortgage in two months. Probably some computer glitch.
Maybe this is one of those instances were a call or email to EO might help.
Good luck

Upon further review they did indeed pull Experian the same day I applied, 5/5/18.

Re: Bank of America Cash Rewards

This occasionally happens if an issuer suspects for whatever reason that an application was fraudulent.

It isn't unheard of for someone who has no previous relationship with BoA to wait 2 weeks before they contact for verification.  If you haven't heard anything from them by then you should absolutely call, regardless of what their online status page reports.  It may be that you will need to submit additional documentation and you'll need enough time to provide it so they can review before 30 days have passed since your submission.

Re: Bank of America Cash Rewards

Right. Except the OP applied on 5/5/18 which has been greater than 14 days let alone 30 days.

In rare instances, BoA can keep applications active beyond 30 days if correspondence and/or required documents are contingent for an approval (depending on any delays with processing from either party).

At this point, it's fair to assume the application is no longer active and the OP would need to reapply if there's still any interest in the product.

Re: Bank of America Cash Rewards

At this point I have no interest in B of A, ever.
