So I was looking for a card with no annual fee and no foreign transaction fees as I will be studying abroad next spring, and so I applied for the BOA Travel Rewards card, it went to "pending" after submitting the application, and after getting in touch with a BOA support person about the application, I decided to apply for their MLB cash rewards card as well since the agent told me they would only do 1 pull of my credit a day so there's nothing really to lose. (in terms of inquries on my account)

That was on Tuesday.

Today I got an email from BOA and they told me I was approved for my travel rewards card but the cash rewards card is still pending as well. Is it likely I get a decision on it today since the other card was approved today and I applied for both on the same day?

The card is still in review; the application went in on Tuesday so i’m assuming I’ll find out this upcoming week

Interesting, I thought you.could only apply for one card every 6 months.. Did something change??

The BOA Associate I talked to told me that he had often assisted people in applying for two cards in a single day and that more often then not they do get approved for both. Whether he was just being a salesman or not I'm not sure but since it hasn't been denied yet I'm optomistic.

if i remember right i app like 5 times with them each time i app for 2 cards same day ,they always approved only the first app and declined second.
