No. several months ago. it became useless.

2 weeks ago i put in spongebob. squarepants. unless i guessed his last 4 on his social correct and his bday correct. and his mailing address. it came back we recommed the cash rewards Mr Squarepants. so. beleive me. its useless. try it your self. you may as well roll the dice.

Why do they even bother with thay prequal/ recommendation thing! I have to tell u i want cash rewards so i can see an offer for cash rewards? Like thanks. I can pretty much figure out what card i want from name/ info page. I have had a boa cash rewards visa for a few years. Boa checking accoun since 2009, never had any offers from them.

It is a waste... Don't even bother applying if it recommends a card unless you really need it and are willing to sacrifice a HP.

March 20, 2015 I was approved for

BankAmericard Better Balance Rewards - $10,000

BankAmericard Travel rewards - $2k

2 cards 1 HP. 

1st card approved at 8am

called backdoor and asked if it's possible for 2 card approvals in the same day with same HP and was told yes.

Analyst stayed on the phone with me while o filled out 2nd app on my iPad . He approved with no problem. 

I will recon the travel card limit upon activation

i did tried within a week to increase my CLI on cash rewards, after getting approved for Travel rewards card. They said they will do one more HP.

I finally said NO, thanks.

Makes perfect sense to me, although I don't particularly like it.  HPs are a record of credit seeking activity.  You got 2 lines of credit for one HP (generous of them).  You're asking for more.  Banks need a way of protecting themselves from risky individuals.  Whether you in particular are a risk doesn't matter, statistically, people who seek credit often are a bigger risk than those who do not, they'd like to keep a record of that.

@happycamper - true and I agree.but it's like going to a burger joint and they want to charge you for every little thing.

lettuce,cheese,tomatoes,pickles, oh did I mention ketchup........

sometimes when  offers present themselves , we have to get out of the GIVING mood and get into the TAKING mood.

trust me when I tell you...... If I can get a "2 for 1 " deal, im all over it..... I'm not a greedy person but ima take it where/when I can get it.

i make good money and I can't tell you the last time I seen/handled my own cash. Everything is handled by numbers in a computer. These

lenders pockets are big, all I need them to do is type in the right numbers in the computer under my name and I'm good to go.

with that being said...... I'm all for a 2 For 1 deal any day. Just like I will get CLI on both accounts on the same day with 1 HP ( every 6 months )
