Not very reliable IMO. They prequalified me for the Bankamericard, applied, and was denied. I also bank with them.

Anybody with any insight on how accurate the Ban of America Credit Card pre-qualify website is?

I'm pretty sure BofA's "prequal" site is now a "recommendation" site. THERE'S NEVER ANY OFFERS.

Applied today after being pre qualified and was denied. They did however approve for me a secured card...no thanks.

no offence to divadivine25 but your scores are in line with a secured card. A lot of people really like BOA's secured card. That being said i think BOA offers way to many secured cards to people.

AMEX PRG NPSL,Lowes $17000,Capital One venture card $12,000,Us Airways mastercard $9500,Fidelity Amex $9000, Discover it $8000, Capital One Venture One $7500, BOA 123 rewards $7500 CSP $6000, Capital One Quicksliver $5500, Amazon Store card$5000,Barclay
Card Ring $5000 Chase Marriott $5000,Chase Hyatt $5000, Sallie Mae Mastercard $4400, Paypal smart connect $4000,Chase Freedom $3200, Capital one Quicksliver visa $3000, Chase IHG Rewards $2300, Chase Southwest Premier $2000, Citi Double Cash $1500, AMEX BCE $1000

Last app July 22nd 2015- No apps for two years.

Re: Bank of America pre-qualify site...how accurate?

They recently changed it. Instead of saying "we couldn't find anything" it now produces a deceptive "we recommend" screen that is the same no matter what info is entered. Looks like they've copied Discover.

Re: Bank of America pre-qualify site...how accurate?

I just checked it yesterday and was highly suspicous of the language. My result said Bankamericard was "recommended" for me. The terms on that card are way too good for my current scores so I passed on app. I suppose if you got "pre-approved" then... maybe.

I get offers in my name, but it still ranges in apr (I think), and I'm looking at more business credit down the road.  With the major banks all vying at that 13.24 max interest rate, methinks a solid score of 760 or above is required, and at least two years small business history.

HAHAHA... This is totally true. I just gave their system a fake name and a fake address, and they still "recommended" four different cards for me.

23 Open Bank Cards / 7 Open Store Cards / TOO many inquires / Mid/High 600's
