Please accept this advice in the sincereest manner it is given. Your BK just discharged. Please don't rush out and start applying for new credit. Give yourself an opportunity to learn from your mistakes so they’re not repeated. Understand that building a great credit profile is a marathon, not a sprint.
I think it would be great for you to visit MyFICO’s Rebuilding Section, “Bouncing Back from Credit Problems,” so you can pace yourself and take the baby steps needed for a successful credit journey.
MyFICO is a minefield of awesome and resourceful info from people who has been there, done that, and from those who are like guide dogs to us who have been blind to the ways of credit for far too long. Spend time on here reading, reading, and then read some more.
Then about six months down the road, you’ll begin to know what cards you want, whether you should apply or not, and know that when you’re at a crossroad, we got your back with answers to your questions.
GL2U on your rebuilding credit journey. Just remember that it takes patience and time is on your side.
Perfectly stated!

@Anonymous,
Congratulations on getting your bankruptcy discharged! Personally I would wait six to 12 mo this before applying for a BBVA credit card. You really need to start rebuilding your payment history. You should check the bankruptcy section and look Soulmaster’s guide to 720 in 24 months. You can tailor the plan to your needs

Contrats on the discharge! I know all too well the want to get in the game. I had a CH13 that discharged in Oct. 2018. I spent 5 years on that repayment plan using cash only and reading this forum. I hit the ground running. Like others stated, knowing how to play the game is what got me to where I'm at today. Eveything you see in my sig was added over the last 11 months. Timing, prequal pages, individual credit card company app rules all played a part in building my new credit portfolio. So I'll end with be smart, be strategic and research everything.
