Barclay Prequal?

Hi all,

Does Barclaycard have a prequal site? Starting to get prequal from SCT and got a couple of offers in the mail this weekend (Credit One... Not using it obvi) Nothing on Chase yet, and only Platinum from Captial One. So I was hoping to check out some other prequal sites that are trustworthy in an attempt to get my third card. Any advice?

Barclay does not currently have a PQ site as far as I know and they haven't for a while.  How long have you had the CO Platinum?  It may be worth apping for their QS1 if you've had a good payment history with them on the Platinum.  My wife was in the same situation (nothing on PQ site), but was approved for a $3K QS1 card.  Her FICO scores were lower than yours at the time of application.  They do pull all 3 reports though as I'm sure you're aware, so not sure that's worth it to you if you get denied.

Only had the Platinum for 2 months. I'm going to wait until I've had it 6 months and then decide if I want to app for a QS1 or an NFCU cashRewards card. I haven't put much thought into my long game, but I want to try to get an Amex next year.

Once you get past the 3 month mark, don't forget to go online and hit the credit increase button. It's instant and is only a SP. Good luck on your journey. My goal is to get a card like that next year.

Do they have a prequal site? I can find the european prequal but does that work for the US?

The prequal on Barclay disappeared a few months back.

For the last couple years they didn't offer it then they did for a tiny bit but it stopped working after like a week and haven't heard much about it since
