Barclay prequal question

Hubby did the prequal for Barclay and got a set APR for the rewards card. Would this be a pretty solid prequal or take a big chance? I know that it's always a chance apping for a card

Does it say 'congratulations' or just recommended.  The Barclays rewards card always seems to give set APR even when it's not any kind of pre approval

I don't remember which one it said. Recommended I think but I'm not sure

Re: Barclay prequal question

I received a letter of prequalification for ther Rewards card, but I already have it. The interest rate was lower, but that doesn't matter to me. I went to the website and when I chose "Travel" for preferred reward, the Arrival+ came up. I applied and was approved for it after verification. So, I'd say the offer is good.

It will say Accept on the screen. If it says Apply, that's not a pre-qualification with them.

What is your TU score. I got approved for a 5k limit with a 698 TU. They typically only pull TU unless it's recon.

FICO TU 757 Eq 741 116,900 Total revolving Credit.

His TU is about 630 or so. Can't pull it again from CCT until the 8th of next month
