So I surprisngly got approved for $1,500 Barclay Apple Visa last week, and after reading about their Rewards card I figured why not apply. I looked at the reviews on Credit Karma and a lot of rebuilders were approved. I got denied, but I only got the one HP. I called to recon this morning and the guy who I talked to couldn't have been nicer. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to overturn it, but told me to try back at another time. They wanted to see how I do with the Apple Visa. I've seen threads on other's having luck trying back a few times, but I'm kind of afraid to do that. I'm torn. Part of me thinks don't be greedy since I think I got rejected from Barclay's earlier this year when rebuilding so the Apple Visa should be enough. I just think the Rewards card would be better since the rewards on the Apple are pretty useless.
Yes barclay's like to see history with their cards before approving you for another card... Give it 6 months and you should be good for the rewards card at that time.. Hope this helps.
Perfect. Thanks!
