Decided to go ahead and apply for a Barclaycard. Was Instant Approved for $1,300 limit. Thinking of possible going for one more card? Any suggestions? Here is where I am at right now for cards.
Cap One: No Hassle - $850 Limit - 0 Balance
Cap One: - $500 Limit - 0 Balance
Cap One: - $600 Limit - 0 Balance
CreditOne- $300 Limit - 0 Balance
I have some 2-3 year old open collections that I am working on paying off / getting deleted too. Scores in my sig.
My main goal really is to build up my available credit. I would really like to get a decent rewards card down the road to use for my everyday spending and just pay-in-full monthly too but I am thinking my scores are not there yet.
I did do the love button on Capital One and that got me to where I am at now I do have the option to combine cards too on the website but didnt hear about calling to try and get upgraded to a higher card! I may have to give that a shot! And yes credit one sucks but it is a positive tradeline so it will just sit around for now I guess haha.
Also how do you get those fancy card icons in your sig?

Call Barclay's recon line and ask for a higher limit. Tell them you're purchasing a laptop or something...say anything but ask for more. It doesn't hurt and sometimes they'll grant you mroe.

You could try Walmart (Synchrony) which would likely be the store card. I'm not sure how the open collection wold factor into the equation. They usually like to see scores on TU at least 620+. That could be introduction to Synchrony which offers SP's on CLI's.

Check the Smorgasboard. There's a whole thread dedicated to it.
Combining Cap 1 cards could really help, but I'd definitely look into doing the product change with the Executive Office. You can email them and ask or give them a call.
I agree with SecretAzure. It didn't quite work with me yesterday with my Apple Card approval, but perhaps you could get a different result with your scores.
I have attempted to PC my Platinum several times on chat to no avail. What is the EO email address? I know people complain about abusing the EO, but I am pushing plenty of money through Cap One and don't feel bad contacting the EO if I have to for this.

I think it would be a mistake. Right now you should garden, and look for soft pull credit limit increases, or automatic increases, and chill out on applications.
