Barclaycard Reward Card Approval - What else should I go for?

Okay so a little update. I went ahead and tried for the barclaycard apple rewards card too since I do shop with them a lot for work related stuff. They approved me with a 2k credit limit! I also trie for a Kay Card mainly for when xmas time rolls around for the wife and was approved with a 5,100 credit line!! I am now going to be in the "garden" for the next year!

Nice and congrats ! Just my $.02, I physically "unplugged" from the credit card app game for about three years. I still used all three credit cards every month and mostly paid them in full (I did carry from time-to-time). Didn't really check my scores or anything - when I decided to "revamp" my credit card portfolio. I received limits of greater than 10K from a few issuers. Discover was the first, then AmEx follwed by Barclay.  IMO, it seems that once you get "one" 10K card - most issuers fall in line, assuming no baddies. I have a few holdouts despite a long history with them ... Citi & BofA

Thanks for the kind words!! My only problem was I kept getting told I needed more available credit because I only had about 1800 total. So now with this little app spree I jumped to over 10k available! I am happy with that and will no longer apply for any cards for a good few years I imagine. I don't care to use cards anymore since that just got me in trouble in the past but I do plan to take advantage of the rewards on two of them and pay-in-full monthly!

Glad to see you taking ownership of your financial standing! You have a great mindset and attitude!

Credit --- Where bad stuff can happen if you pay very little attention to it......but positive things will happen if you do.
