Sorry about your denial. They jacked my spouse around on a Ring app a year or so ago so we stay far away from them now. Since you have a history with them maybe try again later. Good luck.

Lurker of many years here. I recently applied for the Choice Privileges card from Barclays and was given the 10 day notice. I called the backdoor # an hour later and was officially denied. Reason was too many accounts in 2 years. I'm not surprised, I've been on a tear recently. I bought a house last May and started applying the day I closed. I explained that one was their card and one was an AU account, but that didnt help.
Oh well, my first denial ever. After the call I applied for Hilton Honors and was approved

You’ve at least had fun and many successes on your tear. 😁 I suggest gardening for one year and try again.
You’ve had a good run and you have some great cards though. Congrats on all that but sorry about the denial. Barclays is unpredictable lol
Sorry about the denial. You had a great run! Thanks for sharing all the dp's!
Meh... If Barclays wants to sit on the sidelines, let them. They can be more of a headache than they're worth with their hair trigger AA.
Your profile is solid and you've landed some nice cards lately. Congrats on all your recent approvals!

Barclays have gotten more strict recently on underwriting for new accounts. DPs suggest they may have something similar to 5/24 for many of their products now.
