Hi,
I got a mail to apply for Barclay's Ring Master Card. It says I have been Pre Screened. I applied for 6 Cards in Jan and was approved for 4. Was rejected by Chase and Huntington
Was approved by Amex, Citi,CapOne and WellsFargo. So should I go ahead and apply for Barclay's
Thanks
The new card is blah now the old card was better and issued by a flaky lender imo although i do have a card with them just not that. IMO I would pass on that card as you can get alot better no thrills CC from a CU at a better APR!
They gave me a 15 months o% APR Offer... I have a BofA Balance transfer due in May so I am planning to apply for this card and pay that off?

so you going after a BT card? I can give you alot better cards than the ring that offer 0% bt offer for 15 months.. The card just isnt honestly that great and the APR thereafter isnt that great either.. Let me know if you want some other cards that are better APR and has bt offers for 15 months, etc with better lenders.'
What are your FICOs?
FICO 724 (DCU)
TRANS 694 (Credit Karma)
EQUI 704 (Credit Karma)
Thanks a lot
how much you looking to transfer?

No you shouldn't, in my opinion. You were probably selected because of your credit score. But Barclays is very sensitive to inquiries and new accounts, and will probably turn you down.
how many cc's in the last 12 months and two years have you obtained.. That is certainly a decent BT amount and don't really want to max out your new CC.. Do you have any offera with discover currently for bt's?
