Barney's NY APP?/Verification

i got the reviewing applicaton screen after some weird verification questions like whats your highet level of education? then i get an alert from experian saying that a company called alliance data and it was not a hard pull. anyone ever seen this before??

They are verifying things about you that are on your bureaus such as previous addresses and employers, etc.

I know Barney's only has stores in a limited amount of cities, but apping in person is easier. I got approved for $4000 in store while making a $210 purchase.

When I applied after I hit submit the verification questions came up and I got an email too saying alliance data was soft pulling info. Then after answering it said approved!
