I do bank with Chase (as of right now, it is my "Daily Driver" Checking Account but that is going to be moved over to NFCU shortly).
I am currently 8/24 with respect to credit cards in the last two years (but you knew that 14 words ago! LOL). I closed three "rebuilder" cards at the end of 2020 and one more about three months ago. So, as I learned from this forum (specifically, from this post) I am not a viable candidate for a Chase card and will not be until this time next year. Well, based solely on the 5/24 rule. Then come all of the other hurdles to cross.
I am going to investigate these forums for Chase and AMEX information and will become a much much better informed Chase and AMEX consumer. We will see if I qualify to be a Chase and/or AMEX card holder (have a Charge Off from 2017 where I am still 'discussing' things with the original lendor - wont bore you with those details in this post). We will see.
Thanks for your help here!
