Best Buy Declined Recon info ?

So I applied and got the 2 week notice on Bestbuy app. Two days later got secure email stateing denined for too many recent accounts I'll admit I have a whole lot of new accounts.
Anyway I've called the number on the letter all they give me is the same reason letter said the Citi back door numbers cant even find a app and when I tell them it's for a bestbuy card they refer me to the number on letter I called the EO office and was transferred to some one who claimed they were the dept I needed to talk top but said that since app was declined due to credit bur. They was nothing further they could do

Does Citi ever recon best buy cards I even wanted to ask if they could take a 1k from my homedepot limit and give me 500 in best buy

Oh well will try again In couple years

I've had approvals and tried to take on Citi and they don't budge on anything it seems.  Better off kicking rocks than trying to appeal to them for another outcome.

Yea I got cards with 0% for a year so can still get the best buy items I want I'm also a AU on BB card so I'm good just wanted one of my own ..

then don't open any new accounts for 6-12 months and try again.

If it helps, I recently asked for a credit increase and got the "we'll get back to you." I called and at first they were hesitant simply because BB doesnt normally give out high credit limits. After some back and forth they approved, might be best to call again and get a different analyst. I used the I'm a pretty loyal customer and really appreciate the 0% apr offers. For someone who is addicted to BB and tech, it's quite a good deal if you need to keep a balance and cant live without that TV lol

Unfortunately, Citi Retail doesn't reconsider system-declined applications.   The only exception being if there are any errors on your credit file that may merit a 2nd review once corrected.    By the same token, they won't allocate any CL from another Citi Retail CC to open a new tradeline.   Each division is separate.
