I applied this am and got this message. In the past, it would just usually say 7 to 10 days in the mail, decline. I havent applied for this in at least 6 months. Lots of inquiries on EQ and new accounts although no negatives. This is very similar to my past teases with Discover card where they tell me to call new accounts team and then just say sorry we cant approve you.

I think this is a good sign OP......The fact that it says " we need to ask you a few q's means a verification which usually turns into approval.....


The OP already replied that it was not approved after he talked to them.
