i applied for the best by card today and wasnt declined instead i recieved this message,

"We have received your application and will need to process it further. We will contact you with our decision within 2 weeks via U.S. Mail."

Shuld i recon? and if so which one of the backdoor nubers listed for citi should i use?

As for phone this site has it listed under Backdoor numbers. BestBuy.

Call EO ... I was originally declined when I apped for the Citi DC but got approval after calling the EO.

I would call. They may still tell you the same thing, but it won't hurt.

Doesn't sound like an outright denial OP, it sounds closer to verification. I would call the backdoor number and ask about the status of the application and then go from there with a recon if the specialist says it's a denial

called and they told me it was a denial, should i still call the EO on monday what do you guys think?

and which one of these EO numbers should i choose?

Defintely call and give it a shot you took the HP already unless they say it will be another HP, remind them they already took one and try (800) 695-5171. That's the latest I found for personal accounts on the bank side

still declined reason being my recent inquirys so hopefully by in a 1yr or 2 ill be able to get it
