Best SignUp Bonus for Me?

I'm looking for a good sign up offer for a CC.

FICO: 700-715
Income: 40k
Not Under 5/24 (I'd like Southwest but unfortunately they're on the 5/24 list).

Looking for a card with a low spend requirement (Ideally $1,000 or less) but would do $2,000 if it's a really good one.

Re: Best SignUp Bonus for Me?

Chase AARP currently has 200.00 SUB for 500.00 spend over 3 months.

"3% Dining/3% Gas/1% Other" rewards and no 5/24 worries... I'm proof!

Re: Best SignUp Bonus for Me?

Probably the two best ones percentage wise or the mentioned Chase AARP and also the TD Bank Cash rewards. Both are 200/500. It also seems that currently chase is offering 300/500 on the freedom and freedom unlimited if you're pre-approved in branch.

Capital One Venture is 50,000 points (worth $500) for 3k spending.

Re: Best SignUp Bonus for Me?

I'm hoping to get one for at least $300. I'd like that Freedom, but I don't have any branches within 500 miles of me and I'm over 5/24.

Re: Best SignUp Bonus for Me?

You already got as good of responses as you're going to get. Outside of the Chase in branch or targeted offers from some banks, there aren't any public offers that are going to get you $300 in cash for less than $3000 in spend. Your best bet would be to get one of those $200/500 offers I mentioned and if you really want another $100, go and get another card. The $200/500 is an excellent offer that should be jumped on if you're chasing a cash bonus. There's plenty of $200/1000 cards out there as well. Also $300-500/3000-4000, but I guess those wouldn't interest you?

Re: Best SignUp Bonus for Me?

I went for the AARP:

You have been approved for the AARP Credit Card from Chase. You will receive your new card, a paper copy of your Cardmember Agreement and other important disclosures in 7-10 business days.

Your credit line: $4,000.00
Your purchase APR: 21.24% variable

Got my foot in the door with Chase at least Smiley Happy and I'm August I'll probably App for Southwest! Thanks

Re: Best SignUp Bonus for Me?

Congrats. That is a good card. 3% on dining and gas is good and the signup bonus is as good as you're going to find. If the bonus is still the same sometime this spring, I'm going to try and make it my next card. Also for future reference you can check out this link.
