Best way for me to request BoA CLI

I opened a Customized Cash Rewards BoA credit card in July because I had a 5K purchase to do and wanted to open a card to get a quick SUB and I like the 3% gas on this card moving forward.

I was immediately given a 28K limit.

I have been and plan to pay 1K /mo until paid off since it is in the 0% promo period.

I've read that the CLI's are typically an SP and that they generally require 6 months from opening.

My question is how much should I ask for?

Also, do they typically limit based on Income or do they generally approve routine CLI's regardless?

DP's

My total UTI is always < 2%. BoA is 14% now but will be paid off and posted before request.

Scores are around 790

AAoA is about 5

Income 210K

total CL is a little over 300K

Not sure about your second question, but as far as how much to ask for, I've seen many posts suggesting to ask as high as you want, BoA will counter if they're willing to CLI you at all.

BofA CLI's are SP and available online.  You can request as much as you'd like.  Some decide an amount like $5K or $10K and others put in $99K.  Either way, BofA will counter...if you've asked for too much and if they feel your eligible, they will give you an amount they are comfortable with.  They like to see all three factors, usage, income and score
