Blispay declined my app because they couldn't verify my identity

I applied for the Blispay Vida card, but was declined because they claimed they couldn't verify my identity. So I called their credit department and the representative advised me to fax them copies of my driver's license, social security card, and a recent copy of my utility bill, which was exactly what I did.

 

Now that that's said and done, I'm wondering if a reconsideration is taking place.

yes reconsideration is taking place and should here something in two to three days.. I think I was the first person on this forum to do a successful recon with Blispay before they offered them by saying if you can't verify my idenity please remove the HP since I am not who I say I am from my CRA or I will file a complaint with CPFB, BBB, etc.. after a few days got a call asking for same things then shortly there after an approval for 7500.  Since have closed the card.  This is fairly typical now if you want the card.

OP - you should be good to go @CreditCuriousity - it's CFPB :-) :-) and yes, CFPB is a great tool to use to keep these creditors in check!!

I just received the mail today saying that they couldn't verify me due to identity, I called in multiple times to see if they could turn the application around to get it approved, they said no, so I told them remove the inquiry and on top of that I filed a complaint with the CFPB.
