I actually just checked my online bank account and now my account's changed from Travel Rewards to Cash Rewards Signature Visa. Trying checking your online account around 2-3 weeks after you originally called to see if it changed. But so far, I don't see any problems with your PC for it not to go through.
I don't understand what you mean by "no new accounts though". If what you meant is that it's not a new application, then it isn't. It's basically just changing the type of product. In my first experience, everything else is still the same - card number, my history, everything is intact. It's just the plastic that's changed and how you earn rewards.
