Re: BoA Pre-Qual Question

The above is just a recommendation, not a pre-approved offer.

Periodically, if you are an existing BoA customer (and your profile qualifies), there's instances where pre-approved or targeted offers may display.

Bummer. This was from the pre-qual site. It did offer a firm int rate, not a range, which is what had me hopeful. For some reason when I copied and pasted that didn't show through.

Re: BoA Pre-Qual Question

I've tried BoA's pre-approval site several times over the past year, seeing that I've had a BoA checking account for many years, but have never gotten a solid single-figure APR offer that would indicate a likely approval; in fact, from what I understand, BoA's preapproval site is pretty useless as a guide to your likelihood of actually being approved.

P.S. Just checked again and I got an offer for the Cash Rewards World MC with an APR range of 14.74% - 24.74% after the 12-month 0% period. Since the cash back on general purchases is only 1%, I don't find it terribly attractive; Synchrony's Paypal 2% Mastercard seems like a better bet even if it doesn't come with an 0% APR introductory period.
