I've tried all of the numbers that I've found online and in the threads here but they all seem to be disconnected. Can anyone tell what the recon line is for BoA?
Have you tried these:
BofA: 866-618-4585 (Sr Credit Analyst) ~corymcdd88
BOFA:888-221-6262 (Recon Department) ~etx
BofA: 866-618-4585 (Sr Credit Analyst) ~corymcdd88 *worked*
BOFA:888-221-6262 (Recon Department) ~etx *disconnected*
I was able to talk to a credit analyst and they let me know that the secured card was approved and that the $99 will be debited from my account soon.

BOA changes/shuts down the numbers routinely. Guess they really don't want anyone directly calling the analysts.
Just call Sr. Analyst for existing accounts and they will transfer you or regular CSR and they will transfer you to a UW without questions

I just called in regarding an application that I had no status on. I was told that the application was denied, but that they couldn't tell me why it was denied, and that I'd have to wait for the letter.
I asked about reallocating credit lines to open up the separate account, but was told that there is no reconsideration line, and that any reconsideration request is to be mailed to PO BOX 981811, El Paso TX 79998-9986.
Per the letter on the approved application, I had a score of 759 on Experian. The last time I spoke with BoA I had a score of 716. I would have hoped that waiting would have generated an overall credit line increase, but instead all they did was reallocate credit lines to open one card, and flat out denied the other two applications.
For now I'm waiting for the letters to arrive to see if there is any chance to get the new cards approved.

I was able to call the number above and talk to a credit analyst who took a look at my application and approved it for me. Try calling and see what happens. Good luck!
