Yes i agree i was gardening but since they offered me this prequal i went for it...
But it was a shameful enticing just for $1000 SL...
The reason my profile is weak i think is:
-Age of oldest account feb 2018 (cash rewards) and then only Dec 2019 got the amex and cap1 ( denied citizens bank and paypal)
So my file is very young.
-Being self employed, and a resident alien, and using an ITIN. I think all these factors give me low points on their systems.
-Having probably 12 HP on the last 12months due to applying several times for apartments and for a dealership Bond.
(because some of the softwares people use to check my credit not always find me and deny me, i have to apply several times)
All the rest is maximized utilization less than 8.9%, AZEO, no derogs, PIF.
Last 6 months been on the 720´s earlier 6 months on the 710´s
i did a round some months ago for the personal loans who do only SP and all denied me... maybe because i was asking for 30k. but i had 2 personal loans paid in full before. but small amounts 2.5k and 1.4k. paid in march 2019.
Since i am a amex customer and there is only SP i am also planing to get the BCE and transfer the limit of the cash magnet,
from what i know, at this moment the only thing i can do is keep gardening right?
I would garden, and let your profile age. Keep paying on time.
Remember Credit is not a sprint, rather a marathon.
i just wanted to clarify a doubt without opening a new topic:
My old BOA card closing date is on the 28th and my new BOA card will only close mid october.
but im doing AZEO
my question is: when my old card reports on the 28th will bank of america report both cards or will only that old card?
i wanted to clarify this, because if they report both cards i have to pay back the new one to zero. for AZEO best scoring
also update: the love button has been off since march....
The BofA luv button appeared for me today on a card that received a CLI just 83 days ago. So, naturally, I clicked it. Got the 7-10 day message, so that's a no. The denial isn't surprising, but the early appearance of the button is.
for your information, one time i got the denial trough the luv button but called 10 days later, normal number, not even backdoor, and they approved me a huge increase... go figure...

In reality its appearance really shouldn't be. Contrary to what people sometimes report its appearance doesn't follow a set schedule and something about the current state of your profile triggered their automated system to flag you as being eligible to ask. I've had it reappear less than 3 weeks after a successful request.
A 7-10 day message from them doesn't necessarily mean a denial either BTW, you could be in the grey zone and have an underwriter approve an increase.

Great info. Thanks!
my both persoanl and business cards also no longer showing the CLI link, but I got approved 2 days ago or their Preffered reward account instant approval for 15K. I only applied because I have been seeing the offer in my online account for almost 2 months.
My persoanl cash reward card is 14k and Business 28k( which I started as a secure card 2 yrs ago).
I am a BofA banking and credit card customer. I have a card closing on the 28 and 19 of each month. They report individually. Never together. So go by the close date per account. Log in and it'll show you the next close date. They do not report grouped together. For example: if You had two cards with BofA close on the 28th, they'll still
report equally but on their own trade line. Not as a whole. From my knowledge BofA does not report off cycle. My reported balance is my balance as of midnight on my close date. If I close the 28th then at midnight on the 29th, whatever my balance is, is what will report.
