BoA reallocation and BT questions, esp. how often do they choose to deny BTs?

OK, thanks for the advice on my previous question.

Now I have two bank of america cards, want to reallocate and BT, and have some questions relating to those two moves.

My older BoA card is a Power Rewards World Mastercard. It had a 10.5k CLI, I used their offer to go for a CLI and asked for a lot and was given a CLI of 8,800.

Then (a few days later) I applied for a BankAmericard and thankfully got it, with a CL of 7000.

So I have
BoA power rewards 19300 CL        current balance about 1000
BoA Americacard        7000 CL        brand new, just approved

I have other balances that total 23.4k (not counting the 1k on the older BoA card.)

Questions:
1) Does BoA have a rule that you have to keep a minimum CL on a card when reallocating? Can I go all the way to moving like 18k so I'd have CLs of 1300 and 25000 afterward?

Once I get to the balance transfers:

2) How long does it take for BoA to make the payment on their BTs?

3) And I think most importantly at this point, they can choose to accept or reject any BT, right? Do I need to worry about this? At this point, the vast majority (19.4k of the 23.4K total balances) that I'd like to BT to the new BoA americard is on a discover IT card. If at all possible, I want to transfer that whole balance or very close to it. If they choose to reject all or part of that, it really messes up my plans enormously.

Obviously my goal is to use the 15 months to pay as much of the 23.4k down as I can. I'm really hoping to get the whole 19.4k discover balance transferred over to the new BoA card.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to read and for any replies!

Re: BoA reallocation and BT questions, esp. how often do they choose to deny BTs?

Call the backdoor number to have an analyst verify the CL move amount... since it's coming from an old card to the new I would hesitate a bit because your $1K will not qualify for 0% since banks don't BT their own balances to another product.

I would either pay it off or BT away to another card, let it post, and then start moving things around.

With banks like Chase they like to keep $500+ on the old card in case another charge comes through, others like to keep 1-2K.

I would say it's safe to assume you can get the BA card up to 25K by moving the CL over to it from the old one.  Maybe do that and then pay as normal on the old card.

Re: BoA reallocation and BT questions, esp. how often do they choose to deny BTs?

I have to get a little -- very little -- sleep and then go to work, but in your opinion if I can get the CL to about 25k, then I shouldn't really have to worry about bank of america approving the transfer of the whole 19k from discover?

Thanks again for your help!

Re: BoA reallocation and BT questions, esp. how often do they choose to deny BTs?

Shouldn't be an issue since that's 3% cut for them right off the top so.... ~$600 in their pocket.

Of course you'll lose fico points for the high UTIL but, 0% makes up for the $$$ you'd be spending on interest hopefully.

Another thing with BOA.... you have the option to Direct Deposit your BT $ into your checking account and then pay directly on your own.... might be able to kill the balance on the older card that way at the same time.  Once the dust settles move the rest of the CL over to the new card if you want to do that or just hold onto the old card for the age.
