Hello boys and gals , for general knowledge, does anyone know if when one asks for a credit limit increase, does Bank of America pull a fresh report from day of inquiery or do they go off your last updated Fico score? Thanks great day everyone

IME they pull a fresh TU report for CLI's.  I have seen people get increases at 3 and 4 months but I have had the best luck on 6 months intervals.  Good luck!

Thanks JustBPatient, its just when i do i wanna have all my ducks in a row lol. There are a couple creditors who are crazy slow to update and those balances can have an adverse affect on ones score. Maybe not much but still, would like to be dressed up handsome and ready to dance haha

I just did an online CLI for my BOA cash rewards.  I requested $10,000 to put me at $40,000....approved and instantaneous alert from CK from the TU HP.  And yes, it is a fresh report, and yes TU is SLLLLLOOOOOWWWW to update.

I shoulda asked for more, but i think we all get a little 'nervous' when we feel we're pushing the limits.  I really like BOA though.  6 mos CLI like clockwork.  Never denied, never given a lesser amount than requested.

Ahh, thanks stellar, i try. I mean honestly i cant offer super duper credit advice as i am truely learning how to do this correctly this time and sincerely just your average American trying to pay his bills lol. I try to lighten the mood abit am glad to be of service
