Does anyone who has or has had the Bank of America secured card know how long you have to wait before you can increase the secured limit? We recently got this card for my DH, but we only put down $300 because we were preety sure he would get denied. Anyway, he got approved and we want to increase the secured deposit ASAP. We will be using this card at Costco for the 2% rewards, and I am sure I don't have to tell y'all, $300 ain't enough of a limit to be shopping at Costco. TIA
Isnt the BofA secured card a MasterCard? If so, not sure you can use it at Costco. They are a VISA only store. I suppose you could buy guft card online, but I might research this... Good luck

I believe the OP indicated they planned on using it more at Costco so that would likely be an indication that it's a Visa but perhaps @RehabbingANDBlabbing can clarify. My understanding was that even other BoA secured card versions such as the 99/500 were issued as Visa in the past.

It is a Visa.
My Bank of America Americard was secured. I wasn't able to put more deposit on it till the 4th statement cut. Then I unsecured it after the 5th statement cut. That's me, I can't speak for everyone else's experience.
